Founder, Bob Wood’s career spans more than 40 years, most of which he spent as a product development scientist at Fortune 100 food & beverage companies. During that time, Bob created a number of branded products that are consumed today by people throughout the world.

New Product Solution

CoTechno’s first experience with abelei was a bit harried. One of their customers called CoTechno’s Founder, Bob Wood, late one Friday afternoon asking if he could finalize product formulations by the following Monday. Bob immediately called abelei to request three flavors for shipment from Chicago by Next Day Air, Saturday-delivery to CoTechno’s lab in South Florida. By that time, the last member of abelei’s flavor team had left the lab for the day. When that flavorist’s cell phone could not be reached, abelei’s VP of Business Development drove to find the flavorist, and request he return to work to quickly prepare samples in time to make the last drop off deadline at the local FedEx distribution depot. CoTechno received the flavor samples Saturday morning, presented their formulations on Monday, and since then, abelei has supplied thousands of pounds of those same flavors to this very satisfied and loyal customer.
